The Social Research Centre is a full service research agency. We have extensive experience in telephone, on-line, mail, face-to-face and mixed mode survey research and a specialist qualitative research team with expertise in designing and conducting rigorous research using the full range of methods (including focus groups, in-depth interviews, case studies, deliberative events and workshops).
Our areas of expertise include:
Large-scale survey design, conduct and management
Longitudinal surveys
Qualitative research, using the full range of methods
Population health research
Research into contemporary social issues
Social marketing and health promotion research
Behavioural research
Complex customer satisfaction studies for government agencies
Campaign evaluation research
Research amongst Aboriginal Australians and persons of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and
Program evaluation and policy development research
The Social Research Centre has a high standing and well-established links with key academic and not-for-profit research agencies. These partnerships include a Memorandum of Understanding with Monash University to foster closer ties between the two organisations and an infrastructure sharing agreement with the University of Queensland, Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), where our Managing Director and Founder (Darren Pennay) holds an Adjunct Professorship.
We believe that by specialising purely in social and health research we are well placed, not only to better understand the demands of such research, but also to strive to continuously improve the methods used.
